Terms & Conditions
Last updated
These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the agreement that governs client work — that is set out in the signed proposal for each engagement, which takes precedence over anything on this page.
These terms
These terms govern your use of sparza.co. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
The site is operated by Sparza Studio, Rua da Boavista 84, Lisbon, Portugal, registered in Portugal under company number COMPANY NUMBER.
What this site is
This site describes our studio and the work we do. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it forms a contract on its own.
Prices shown on the pricing page are indicative starting points published to help you judge fit. The scope, fee, and timeline for any engagement are fixed only in a signed proposal, and that proposal — together with any agreement it refers to — governs the work in place of this page.
Using the site
You may read, quote, and link to this site freely. You may not:
- copy or republish substantial parts of it as your own;
- use it in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
- introduce malware, or attempt to disrupt or overload the site;
- scrape it in a way that degrades the service for other people.
Intellectual property
The design, code, text, and imagery on this site are owned by Sparza or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and related rights. Client names and marks shown in our work are the property of their respective owners and appear here to identify the projects they relate to.
Rights in work produced for a client are assigned or licensed under the agreement for that engagement, not by anything on this page.
Case studies and figures
Case studies describe projects as we understood them and may be summarised, anonymised, or shortened. Figures quoted in them describe what happened on that project in its own circumstances. They are not a forecast, and nothing on this site is a promise of any particular result on your project.
Enquiries you send us
Please do not send confidential information through the contact form. Until a confidentiality agreement is in place, treat anything you send as non-confidential. We are happy to sign an NDA before a detailed conversation — ask, and we will arrange one.
You confirm that anything you send us is yours to send and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a site we do not control, we do so for convenience or reference. We are not responsible for its content, its accuracy, or how it handles your data.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this site. Liability arising from client work is dealt with in the agreement for that engagement, not here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the moment you use the site is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
Questions about these terms go to hello@sparza.co.
